Recent forecasts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and global models indicate a maximum of around 30–31°C for Karachi on September 8, driven by persistent monsoon moisture, increased cloud cover, and moderating southwest winds from the Arabian Sea that limit daytime heating. Historical September averages place highs near 33.5°C, but below-normal rainfall and the lingering positive ENSO phase have kept conditions slightly cooler than seasonal norms while still above long-term baselines in some outlooks. Trader emphasis on 31°C reflects these near-term model consensus and the narrow window before resolution, with any shift in steering patterns or clearer skies potentially favoring 32°C or higher. Updated PMD briefings and ensemble runs over the next 48 hours represent the key data points likely to influence positioning.
