Forecast models from sources including GFS data indicate a peak temperature near 32°C in Milan on September 8 under clear to partly cloudy skies driven by a lingering warm air mass and light southeasterly flow. This aligns with the market's leading 32°C outcome at 61.5% implied probability, as recent days have featured highs of 33–35°C amid stable high pressure before a frontal system introduces scattered thunderstorms and a modest cooldown by midweek. Historical September averages hover near 26–28°C, underscoring the current anomaly, while model consensus narrows the likely range to 31–33°C with limited spread in ensemble runs. Traders appear to weigh the narrow uncertainty window and official observational thresholds for daily maxima when pricing the 31°C and 33°C alternatives at 25% and 11.5%.
