**Forecasts from the National Weather Service Denver/Boulder office and local outlets indicate a mostly sunny to partly cloudy Wednesday, September 9, with an expected overnight low near 60–61°F.** This places the most likely minimum temperature in the upper 50s to low 60s range, consistent with the warm, dry air mass dominating the Front Range in early September 2026. Recent days have featured highs in the mid-to-upper 80s and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s, running several degrees above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 52°F for the date. Clear or mostly clear skies overnight support efficient radiational cooling, yet the absence of a strong cold front or significant moisture limits deeper drops. Model consensus remains stable with minimal spread in guidance, though small revisions in wind or cloud cover could shift the minimum by a few degrees. The market-implied probabilities—led by 53°F or below at 45%—appear to embed residual uncertainty around exact overnight cooling rates and any last-minute forecast adjustments ahead of the September 9 calendar day close. Traders will closely monitor updated NWS point forecasts and mesonet observations through the evening of September 8 for any shifts in the expected minimum.
