Current National Weather Service forecasts call for sunny skies and a high near 89°F in Atlanta on September 9 under easterly flow of 5–10 mph, consistent with recent model consensus. Trader emphasis on the 88–93°F range reflects uncertainty in boundary-layer mixing, radiative heating under clear conditions, and minor warm advection signals amid a stretch of above-normal early-September temperatures. Light winds and dew points near 68–70°F support efficient daytime warming without significant cloud cover or precipitation to moderate peaks. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion remain the key near-term catalysts that could shift implied probabilities between adjacent temperature bins.
