Keith Faber holds a strong lead in the Ohio attorney general race due to the state's Republican tilt in statewide contests and his established record as state auditor. He secured the GOP nomination without opposition in the May primary, positioning him as the clear favorite against Democrat John Kulewicz, who emerged from a competitive Democratic primary after defeating Elliot Forhan. The seat opened following Dave Yost's resignation and interim appointment of Andy Wilson, but this transition has not altered the partisan dynamics. With the November general election approaching and limited recent polling shifts or major campaign developments in the past month, trader consensus reflects the structural advantages for the Republican nominee in this open-seat contest.
