Recent forecasts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and global models indicate a minimum temperature near 26–28°C in Karachi on September 18, driven by post-monsoon coastal conditions with moderate southwesterly winds and high humidity near 70–85%. Light rain on September 17 lowered daytime peaks and supported overnight cooling, aligning with typical early-autumn baselines where minima hover around 25–27°C. Model consensus shows limited variability, with partly cloudy skies and no strong frontal systems expected to push readings below 25°C or above 29°C. Traders appear to weigh these stable atmospheric patterns and the absence of further precipitation against historical September data when pricing the 27°C outcome highest.
