Dalton Eatherly, the controversial IRL streamer known as Chud the Builder, faces attempted murder and related felony charges from a May 2026 courthouse shooting in Tennessee, yet the market prices "No" conviction at 60% due to the case's early procedural posture. The matter sits with the grand jury after Eatherly's August release on $1 million bond and house arrest, with no trial date set amid typical delays for violent felonies in the state. His self-defense claim, prior misdemeanor matters, and the July 2027 resolution window further tilt trader consensus toward acquittal, plea to lesser counts, or stalled proceedings rather than a swift conviction. Key near-term catalysts include grand jury outcomes and any preliminary hearings that could accelerate or further defer the timeline.
