Recent forecasts from South African Weather Service and international models indicate a minimum temperature near 17–19°C for Cape Town on September 21, driven by persistent clear skies, light south-easterly winds, and above-average warmth extending from the current spell. This positions the 20°C-or-higher outcome as the market leader at 49% implied probability, well above the September climatological average low of roughly 9–11°C. Model consensus shows limited overnight cooling under stable high pressure, with daytime peaks reaching 25–28°C. Key upcoming updates from official agencies on the 20th will refine wind and humidity details that could nudge the final minimum.
