Recent Swedish opinion polls show Vänsterpartiet and Centerpartiet locked in a tight race for support ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election, with shares fluctuating between roughly 6.5% and 7.8% across major surveys. This narrow gap underpins the market's near-even trader consensus, reflecting voter indecision among smaller parties amid broader competition between the centre-left opposition bloc and the incumbent Tidö government on issues such as security, crime, and economic policy. Late-campaign events including party-leader debates, economic indicators, or shifts in turnout among swing voters could readily alter relative totals, while stable bloc alignments limit dramatic swings for either party.
