Russia's September 2026 State Duma elections feature a 5% national threshold for proportional representation seats, and recent polling consistently places Yabloko at 2–3% support. The liberal opposition party, the only registered group openly advocating a ceasefire in Ukraine, received roughly 1.2% in the 2021 vote and has faced intensified administrative pressure, including candidate disqualifications, foreign-agent designations, and criminal proceedings targeting its anti-war platform. Although the Central Election Commission certified Yabloko's federal and single-mandate lists in July 2026, these structural constraints and low voter ratings among broader electorates limit its prospects for clearing the barrier. Traders' strong consensus on "No" reflects this sustained polling gap and the limited scope for late shifts in a tightly managed electoral environment.
