Current model consensus from sources including the National Weather Service and private forecasts points to a high temperature in the mid-60s °F for San Francisco on September 20, driven by persistent onshore westerly flow and marine layer influence that limits daytime warming. This setup favors the market-leading 66-67°F and 64-65°F bins, consistent with recent observations showing highs in the upper 60s amid mostly cloudy conditions and light winds. Historical September averages near 71°F provide context, but current steering patterns and cloud cover suppress temperatures below that baseline. Traders appear to weight ensemble guidance showing minimal warming potential ahead of the overnight period, with any late-day clearing unlikely to push readings into the upper 60s or beyond. Updated NWS model runs and local observations will offer the next resolution signals.
