SpaceX (SPCX) shares have traded in a wide post-IPO range since the June 2026 listing at $135, peaking near $226 before settling around $150 amid heavy volatility and profit-taking that erased over $600 billion in market value at times. Traders focus on Starlink’s $11.4 billion revenue contribution (61% of 2025 totals) and the segment’s operating profit as the main fundamental support, while the overall 60–90x sales multiple prices in aggressive long-term growth from satellites, AI, and orbital infrastructure. The week of September 7 centers on digestion of the company’s first public earnings release, which will provide the initial post-IPO checkpoint on revenue trajectory, cash burn, and margin expansion against consensus estimates.
