SpaceX shares (SPCX) have rebounded sharply into early September 2026, briefly reclaiming levels above $150 and a $2 trillion market capitalization on September 3 amid a broader tech rally and sustained AI infrastructure enthusiasm. The stock, which priced its record June IPO at $135 per share for a $1.77 trillion valuation, has traded in a wide post-listing range between roughly $108 and $226, reflecting heavy capital spending on AI (over 80% of first-half capex) alongside 92% year-over-year revenue growth to $7.81 billion in Q2 and a narrowed net loss of $541 million. Consensus analyst price targets sit near $229, implying substantial upside from current levels around $140–$150, though multiples remain elevated near 59 times annualized sales. Traders are focused on near-term momentum in the AI and Starlink segments as the primary driver of implied probabilities for price thresholds in the week of September 7.
