Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and local models indicate a low near 52°F for Denver on September 21, aligning with the market's leading 52-53°F bin at 30% implied probability. Overnight radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies and light easterly winds should limit further temperature drops, consistent with recent September patterns where lows have hovered in the low-to-mid 50s amid above-average daytime warmth. Historical climatology shows an average low of 47°F for the date, yet persistent mild air masses have kept recent minima elevated. Key variables include cloud cover extent, wind speed, and any late-day thunderstorm remnants that could alter surface heat retention. Updated model runs and official observations through Monday morning will refine the range, with traders weighing potential 2–4°F variances from these factors.
