Official National Weather Service observations recorded a 76°F daily minimum in Atlanta on September 4, 2026, driving the overwhelming 96% market-implied probability for the 76-77°F bin. Warm overnight conditions under clear skies and light southeasterly flow limited radiational cooling, consistent with above-average September lows near 76°F amid a broader heat pattern. Historical climatology shows typical early-September lows around 68-69°F at Atlanta Hartsfield, making this outcome an outlier supported by real-time station data. Final NOAA verification or minor station discrepancies represent the primary remaining uncertainty, though model consensus and preliminary reports strongly favor no revision outside the leading range.
