Recent median listing prices for New York City homes have hovered near $665K, with the July 2026 figure at $664.5K after a June peak of $689K, placing the market squarely between the two leading Polymarket bins. Persistent low inventory and elevated mortgage rates continue to support prices despite softer transaction volumes, while broader Zillow Home Value Index readings near $833K reflect compositional differences in the underlying data series. Seasonal inventory builds ahead of fall and any further shifts in Treasury yields or Fed policy signals represent the main near-term variables that could tip the September 30 print between the $636K–$663K and $663K–$689K ranges. Trader consensus reflects this narrow band of uncertainty, with limited probability assigned to outcomes outside the central $600K–$700K corridor.
