Recent National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance indicate minimum temperatures in Atlanta on September 19 will likely settle in the low 70s, driven by persistent warm, humid air masses with light easterly winds and limited overnight radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies. Afternoon thunderstorms may briefly disrupt heating but are unlikely to produce significant boundary-layer mixing or a sharp cool-down. These conditions align with the market's tight clustering around 72–75°F outcomes, reflecting trader assessment of model consensus versus historical September averages near 64–65°F. Updated NWS short-term guidance and any shifts in steering patterns remain the key variables ahead of resolution.
