Persistent cloud cover, widespread showers, and thunderstorms over Ankara on September 17, 2026, are moderating overnight cooling and creating tight uncertainty around the daily minimum. Official forecasts from sources like the Turkish State Meteorological Service and international models show lows clustering near 13–14°C amid high humidity near 90–100% and light variable winds, with some runs dipping to 12°C or below under heavier rain bands. These conditions align with the market’s near-even implied probabilities for 12°C, 13°C, and 14°C outcomes, as small shifts in precipitation timing or intensity can alter the observed low by 1–2°C. Historical September baselines for Ankara average around 14–15°C, but the current unsettled pattern favors slightly cooler readings. Updated model runs and official station reports expected later in the day will likely refine trader positioning before resolution.
