Recent polling for Israel's October 27 election places Likud around 22-25 Knesset seats, reflecting sustained pressure from Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party and broader opposition consolidation that has narrowed Netanyahu's coalition prospects below a majority. Low-turnout Likud primaries, completed this week with Eli Cohen topping the slate amid internal disputes over reserved spots, have underscored party cohesion challenges without shifting overall support. Trader consensus splitting evenly between the 20-24 and 25-29 bins captures this uncertainty, driven by variables such as Arab-party negotiations, ultra-Orthodox draft issues, and security developments that could either consolidate right-wing votes or further fragment the bloc.
