Persistent rain and extensive cloud cover associated with a slow-moving frontal system are suppressing daytime heating in Tokyo on September 21, keeping maximum temperatures centered on the 24–26°C range according to the latest model consensus. Northeasterly winds of 10–20 km/h, combined with near-100% humidity and heavy precipitation totals exceeding 80 mm in some guidance, further limit solar insolation and vertical mixing. This setup favors the market's leading 25°C and 26°C outcomes while leaving room for minor upward or downward revisions depending on the exact timing of heaviest rain bands and any model shifts in steering flow. Historical September baselines near 26°C provide context, but the current synoptic pattern deviates toward cooler, wetter conditions.
