Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas project a Monday high near 97°F under mostly sunny conditions, with a 20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms and a shift to northerly winds that could limit peak heating. This underpins the market's leading implied probabilities on 94–95°F and 96–97°F ranges. Key variables include convective cloud cover or early precipitation that might cap temperatures in the low-to-mid 90s, versus clearer skies allowing readings near or above 98°F. Late-September climatology around 92°F highlights the current warm anomaly, while short-range model updates and National Weather Service briefings before resolution remain critical for traders assessing uncertainty in storm timing and intensity.
