Recent National Weather Service and GFS model guidance points to a minimum temperature in Dallas on September 19 in the mid to upper 70s, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 76–79°F outcomes. Clear skies and light southerly flow are expected to limit radiational cooling overnight, while dew points near 60–65°F and daytime heat retention from highs near 100°F support those readings. Subtle differences among ensemble members—particularly small variations in boundary-layer mixing or wind speed—account for the narrow spreads between 76–77°F and 78–79°F bins. Historical September averages near 69°F underscore how persistent warm advection has elevated current probabilities, with final NWS station observations at DFW or Dallas Love Field set to resolve the market.
