Recent polling shows Die Linke gaining ground ahead of the 20 September 2026 Abgeordnetenhaus election, often placing first or second with 18–22% support amid a fragmented field that includes the CDU, AfD, Greens, and SPD. This multi-party competition, combined with Berlin’s proportional seat allocation and 5% threshold, produces wide uncertainty in translating vote shares into exact mandates for the Linke. Trader prices remain tightly clustered across seat ranges because small shifts in turnout, coalition signaling, or late swings among left-leaning voters could move the party across several bins. With roughly six weeks until voting, final campaign events and any consolidation among other parties are the main variables that could separate the probabilities.
