Persistent high pressure and southerly flow have maintained elevated overnight lows across North Texas, with National Weather Service and private forecasts projecting a minimum temperature in the upper 70s to low 80s for September 17. This aligns with the market’s leading 82–83 °F bucket (48 % implied probability) and supports the 80–81 °F range, while the 90 °F+ outcome reflects uncertainty over daytime heat carryover. A prolonged dry spell and absent cold fronts have kept temperatures well above the 69.6 °F climatological average low, though subtle model consensus on light winds and partial clearing overnight limits downside risk to the 71 °F-or-below tier. Updated NWS guidance and early-morning observations will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
