Recent polling averages place Die Linke ahead of the CDU in projected vote share for the September 20 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election, with the most recent Forsa survey showing Linke at 22% versus CDU at 18%. This edge stems from sustained gains for Linke under top candidate Elif Eralp alongside modest CDU recovery after replacing Kai Wegner with Stefan Evers as lead candidate. The incumbent CDU-SPD coalition continues to trail in surveys, while no two-party majority appears likely. Trader consensus reflects these patterns across multiple institutes, though margins remain within typical polling error and final turnout could still narrow the gap between the two parties.
