The upcoming October 2026 communal elections in Liberec feature an open race after incumbent mayor Jaroslav Zámečník stepped aside, with Starostové pro Liberecký kraj advancing Lukáš Hájek as its lead candidate to maintain the coalition's record of stability. A crowded field includes challengers such as Tibor Batthyány heading the new Libe! coalition, alongside other party and independent lists, which fragments voter support and sustains closely matched trader probabilities near 45-50% for frontrunners. Limited recent polling and early-stage campaigning keep assessments fluid, while scheduled candidate registrations, potential debates, and coalition negotiations could shift implied probabilities as election day approaches.
