Forecast models from the Met Office and supporting guidance indicate a minimum near 11–14°C for London on September 20, driven by clearing skies, light northwest winds, and building high pressure that promotes radiational cooling overnight after a mild, humid period. Recent shifts from southwest flow and cloud cover to drier, clearer conditions have lowered overnight lows compared with the prior week, though model spread and exact timing of clearing create uncertainty around the precise minimum. Traders assign the highest implied probabilities to 13–15°C outcomes, reflecting consensus on modest cooling tempered by residual warmth in the boundary layer and potential for slight model revisions before resolution.
