**Stella Lefty’s “Boston” has surged into the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100** (week ending Aug. 29, 2026), climbing from No. 4 the prior frame on the strength of rising multi-format radio airplay, steady streaming, and sales gains that reflect its country-pop crossover appeal and Noah Kahan interpolation. This momentum, combined with Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” locking in a record-tying 19th week at No. 1, positions “Boston” as the clear frontrunner to repeat at No. 2 on the chart dated September 12. Recent tracking shows limited immediate threats from Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now,” or Langley’s additional titles, as “Boston” benefits from sustained promotional lift and broad audience engagement. Traders have priced in this trajectory ahead of the next chart update, though late-week streaming or airplay shifts could still influence final positioning.
