Recent Spotify US data shows Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” locked at No. 1 with dominant weekly streams, leaving a tight race for second among Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings,” which posted the strongest gains and sits at roughly 7.5 million weekly streams, Olivia Rodrigo’s “stupid song” and “the cure,” Tame Impala’s “Loser,” and Steve Lacy’s “oh yeah?.” Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” and “Jolene” surged into the top 15 on recent daily charts after strong initial streaming spikes, creating late momentum that traders weigh against established holds. With resolution set for September 4, final daily tallies and any promotional or viral boosts in the next few days will determine the outcome in this narrow contest.
