This market will resolve according to the listed song which holds the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the greatest number of weeks in the summer of 2026. For the purposes of this market, only Billboard Hot 100 charts with date labels for weeks in June, July, and August of 2026 will be considered. If more than one song is tied for greatest number of weeks in the No. 1 spot, this market will resolve in favor of the song whose title comes first in alphabetical order. Weeks in the No. 1 spot need not be consecutive. If the resolution source for this market becomes permanently unavailable, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the official Billboard Hot 100 charts, published on the Billboard website (https://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100/).The 2026 Song of the Summer market shows closely matched implied probabilities across a wide field, with specific listed contenders like Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” at just 3.5% and others below 1%, reflecting trader consensus on fragmented momentum rather than any single dominant track. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has posted the strongest cumulative Songs of the Summer chart performance through late August via sustained Hot 100 dominance and crossover streaming, yet its absence from high-probability options underscores uncertainty heading into Labor Day. Drake’s ICEMAN cuts, Olivia Rodrigo’s album tracks, and Taylor Swift’s soundtrack single have each logged early peaks but lack the late-season acceleration needed to break the deadlock, while album releases and viral moments continue to shift daily metrics without producing a clear frontrunner.
