The race for Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district features a rematch between Republican incumbent Derrick Van Orden and Democratic nominee Rebecca Cooke, who secured her party's nomination in the August 11 primary. The district's narrow 2024 margin under 3 points and its competitive profile position it as a battleground seat amid the 2026 midterms. Recent polling, including a June survey showing Cooke ahead, combined with candidate fundraising and national political environment, informs trader consensus reflected in the current probabilities. Resolution depends on the November 3 general election outcome.
