Recent forecasts from models including the Met Office and global ensembles indicate a high-pressure ridge over northern Italy supporting mostly clear skies and light easterly winds for Milan on September 21, with daytime highs projected near 28–30 °C. This setup favors strong diurnal heating under low humidity and minimal cloud cover, pushing temperatures above the September climatological average of roughly 25 °C. Market-implied odds favoring 31 °C or higher at 49.5 % reflect trader assessment of model spread and potential for slight warm bias in short-range guidance, while clustered probabilities around 27–29 °C capture the central forecast range. Updated runs expected within the next 24–48 hours from European and U.S. centers will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
