Forecast consensus from agencies including the Met Office points to a daytime maximum of 34°C in Tel Aviv on September 17 under clear, sunny skies and light westerly winds, driving the 75% market-implied probability for that outcome. Late-September Mediterranean conditions feature stable high pressure and modest humidity, supporting peak readings near the upper end of the typical 30–34°C seasonal range without significant cloud cover or sea-breeze cooling to suppress temperatures. Model guidance shows minimal spread, with only modest upside risk from localized heating pushing a small probability toward 35°C. Traders appear to weigh official forecast thresholds and historical verification data heavily, leaving lower outcomes like 33°C or below with limited implied odds absent unexpected cooling.
