Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models project a high near 89–91°F for Miami on September 9, driven by typical late-summer subtropical conditions with moderate easterly flow, high humidity, and sea-breeze influences. Afternoon convection, with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, introduces uncertainty that could cap the peak slightly below or allow brief clearing to reach the low 90s. Historical September 9 averages near 89.7°F and recent early-month readings of 89–93°F provide context, while the absence of strong steering patterns or tropical systems supports tight clustering around 90°F. These factors underpin the market-implied 52.5% probability for 90–91°F as the consensus outcome, with lower odds on extremes reflecting limited upside potential from storm timing.
