This market will resolve according to the fighter that is ranked first in the UFC Pound-For-Pound rankings on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. If, for any reason, there is no fighter ranked first in the UFC Pound-For-Pound Rankings at this market’s check-time, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Islam Makhachev's dominant recent form, including a unanimous decision title defense at UFC 330 in August 2026 that extended his win streak to 17, underpins the market's overwhelming consensus for his continued reign as pound-for-pound leader through year-end. As the welterweight champion with an undefeated streak in title bouts across weight classes, his grappling control, striking precision, and historical head-to-head edges against top competition have solidified trader views reflected in the 94.5% implied probability. Other fighters like Alex Pereira and Ilia Topuria trail far behind due to recent setbacks and division-specific challenges. While Makhachev holds a substantial edge, an unexpected loss in a late-2026 bout or a surge by a rising contender could still shift the outcome before December 31.
