The resolution source for this market will be official information from the USTA and ATP; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**The withdrawal of world No. 1 Jannik Sinner with a right knee injury has reshaped the men's draw just before main-draw action begins August 30 at Flushing Meadows.** Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz returns after a four-month right-wrist layoff without warm-up matches, while recent French Open winner Alexander Zverev enters as the top seed and clearest form player on hard courts. Novak Djokovic adds experience and historical success at the event. These shifts elevate the implied probabilities for the top seeds to advance through the best-of-five format to the semifinals, though Alcaraz's match fitness and the physical demands of late-summer conditions remain key variables for traders assessing individual paths.
