Current National Weather Service and GFS-based forecasts for Los Angeles International Airport indicate a Monday night low near 67°F under mostly clear skies with light southerly winds and minimal marine layer influence, placing the 68-69°F bin as the market favorite at 66% implied probability. This aligns with recent climatology for mid-September, where average lows hover around 64°F, though persistent warmth from a strong high-pressure ridge has kept recent minima in the upper 60s. Model consensus shows little overnight cooling potential from cloud cover or onshore flow, while the 78°F+ outcome at 41% reflects residual uncertainty in urban heat island effects or minor forecast revisions. Updated model runs and official NWS briefings on September 13 will provide the final data points before resolution.
