Stable spring conditions in Wellington, New Zealand, with partly cloudy skies, light southeasterly winds, and no significant frontal systems have produced consistent forecast highs of 15–16°C for September 13 across multiple meteorological models. This alignment with seasonal averages and the absence of recent atmospheric shifts or measurement anomalies underpins the overwhelming 99.6% market-implied probability for a 16°C peak. Official monitoring data and ensemble guidance show minimal divergence in expected maximums, though small timing or local microclimate variations could still nudge the recorded high by 1°C.
