**Forecast consensus points to a minimum temperature in the upper 70s on September 6, 2026, aligning with the market's leading outcomes of 78-79°F (45%) and 76-77°F (33%).** Official National Weather Service guidance and multiple models indicate overnight lows near 78°F for the night of September 5–6, with the daily minimum on the 6th expected in a similar range under partly cloudy skies and light southeast winds. Persistent high humidity from Gulf moisture, combined with the absence of a strong cold front, supports these elevated readings—well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of roughly 75°F for the date. Recent model runs show minimal spread, with limited cooling potential before sunrise, though any earlier clearing or slightly stronger winds could nudge the low a degree or two lower. Traders appear to be weighting the current warm, stable pattern heavily, producing tight clustering around 76–79°F while assigning lower probability to cooler bins or outliers. Updated NHC/NOAA briefings and morning model cycles on September 6 will provide the final observational data for resolution.
