**Trader consensus centers on morning lows in the mid-70s for Atlanta on September 6, 2026, with the 76-77°F bin leading at 39.5% implied probability, followed closely by 74-75°F (30%) and 78-79°F (27.5%).** These tight spreads reflect genuine forecast uncertainty around the precise overnight minimum rather than any major divergence in overall outlook. Official National Weather Service guidance and recent model runs show a persistent warm, humid air mass over north Georgia, with early-morning temperatures bottoming out near 73–76°F under partly cloudy skies and light northwest flow. A slight chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms on the 6th offers limited overnight cooling potential, while heat indices near 100–105°F during the day underscore the warm boundary layer. Recent days have featured above-normal temperatures (highs 94–97°F) with minimal diurnal drops, consistent with the current pattern. Key variables that could shift the exact low include cloud cover timing, dewpoint trends, and any localized outflow boundaries from storms. Historical climatology places average September 6 lows near 68°F, but the ongoing warm anomaly and lack of a strong frontal passage keep probabilities concentrated in the mid-70s. Updated NWS forecast discussions and model runs through early September 6 will provide the next clearest signals for resolution.
