Goldman Sachs holds a market-implied lead of 56.5% for the lead underwriter role in Anthropic’s planned IPO, ahead of Morgan Stanley at 24%, reflecting the pair’s June 2026 selection as primary bookrunners alongside JPMorgan Chase involvement. Recent confidential S-1 filing and investor meetings ahead of a potential October listing have reinforced their positioning, with reports highlighting a contest for “lead left” status on the multi-billion-dollar deal. JPMorgan’s distant 2.4% odds align with its supporting rather than co-lead role in filings and commentary. Strong revenue run-rate growth and the $965 billion private valuation have sustained institutional demand, keeping syndication focus on these bulge-bracket firms while smaller banks remain negligible in trader pricing.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
