Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate an incoming weather system will bring increased cloud cover, showers, and northeasterly winds to Taipei on September 10, limiting daytime heating and supporting market-implied odds clustered around 29–31°C. Official guidance and ensemble runs show highs likely in the 26–28°C range amid moderate rainfall totals, contrasting with higher readings earlier in the week under clearer conditions. This aligns with typical September climatology of around 30°C but reflects short-term suppression from precipitation and reduced insolation. Trader sentiment remains balanced near the mode because small shifts in rain timing or cloud thickness could allow brief clearing and a 1–2°C boost, with new Central Weather Administration and global model updates expected within 24–48 hours to refine the maximum temperature outcome.
