Recent National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 6 project a high of 66–68°F under mostly sunny conditions after morning clouds, driven by persistent onshore flow and a moderate marine layer that has kept readings 3–5°F below seasonal averages of around 70°F. Trader consensus splits closely between the 68–69°F and 70–71°F bins because afternoon clearing and light westerly winds could allow modest warming if the inversion weakens, while stronger marine influence would cap the peak near 67°F. Updated model runs and NWS briefings ahead of the daily maximum will refine these thresholds before resolution.
