If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026 NCAA FBS season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games. If the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which Big 12 player led the conference in passing touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Big 12 passing touchdowns race remains tightly bunched because a deep group of experienced and incoming quarterbacks enters with comparable profiles and supporting offenses. Noah Fifita returns as Arizona’s veteran leader after a 3,228-yard, 29-touchdown 2025 campaign, while transfers such as Drew Mestemaker at Oklahoma State (nation-leading 4,379 yards in 2025), Devon Dampier at Utah, Jaden Craig at TCU, and Alonza Barnett III at UCF bring proven volume and efficiency. Returning starters including Bear Bachmeier at BYU, Conner Weigman at Houston, and Avery Johnson at Kansas State add further parity, with most teams featuring pass-friendly schemes and solid receiver rooms. Early-season form, injury resilience, and conference schedule strength will likely separate the field among this crowded set of contenders.
