This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 Heisman Trophy, awarded to the most outstanding player in college football, with the winner announced at the Heisman ceremony currently scheduled for December 12, 2026. If the ceremony is postponed after December 26, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been announced within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared co-winners, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Heisman Trophy Trust (https://www.heisman.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Heisman race remains exceptionally open in the early preseason because a deep group of quarterbacks—including CJ Carr at Notre Dame, Arch Manning at Texas, Darian Mensah at Miami, Julian Sayin at Ohio State, Trinidad Chambliss at Ole Miss, and Dante Moore at Oregon—anchor contending programs with strong offensive lines, playmakers, and favorable schedules. Wide receivers like Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith and other signal-callers such as Gunner Stockton, Josh Hoover, and John Mateer add further balance, while roster turnover from the transfer portal and NIL dynamics create uncertainty around supporting casts and team success. Without 2026 regular-season results or injury reports, trader consensus reflects the absence of a clear frontrunner and the historical tendency for late surges driven by conference play and playoff positioning.
