This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Chicago Bears win the season series, this market will resolve to “Bears”. If the Detroit Lions win the season series, this market will resolve to “Lions”. If the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. The two NFC North clubs enter 2026 as closely matched contenders, with projections placing the Lions near 10 wins and the Bears around 9.5, fueling trader consensus that a season series split is the likeliest result. Detroit’s retooled offensive line, established core of Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, and favorable schedule support a modest edge in simulations, while Chicago counters with Caleb Williams entering his third season under Ben Johnson and a top-tier offense that captured the division in 2025. Early injury concerns for Bears running backs and several defensive contributors add uncertainty, but the matchup remains tight on paper. The Thanksgiving home game for Detroit and the Week 17 road contest in Chicago further balance the equation, keeping the probability of each side sweeping low relative to a 1-1 outcome.
