This market will resolve to "Yes" if a team from the state of Texas wins the 2027 NFL championship game (scheduled for February 14, 2027) or the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship Game (scheduled for January 25, 2027). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The NFL teams from the state of Texas are the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans. The FBS teams from the state of Texas are Baylor, Houston, North Texas, Rice, Sam Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas State, Texas Tech, UTEP, and UTSA. If at any point it becomes impossible for every one of these teams to win its respective championship game, this market will resolve to "No". If both championship games are cancelled, postponed after March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or no champion has been declared in either game within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". If only one of the two games is played and decided within that timeframe, this market will resolve according to that game. The primary resolution sources will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com/) and the College Football Playoff (https://collegefootballplayoff.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Texas teams enter the 2026 seasons with competitive but not dominant positioning across both the NFL and college ranks, creating balanced trader sentiment around a 50% implied probability. The Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys project near 9.5–10 wins with capable defenses and quarterback play, yet sit behind frontrunners like the Rams and Bills on Super Bowl odds amid tough schedules and divisional competition. In college football, the Longhorns and Aggies boast top-10 preseason rankings, strong recruiting, and quarterbacks like Arch Manning, but face grueling SEC and non-conference slates that limit their paths to the playoff and national title game. Roster health, early results, and conference outcomes could shift probabilities either direction before the 2027 championships resolve.
