Strong solar heating in the absence of significant moisture or frontal boundaries supports peak readings in the mid- to upper 90s, consistent with recent September climatology showing average highs near 84°F but elevated by persistent warm air advection. Hourly model guidance and observational updates through the afternoon will refine the exact maximum, while any late-day scattered thunderstorms could slightly suppress the peak before resolution.
