Current forecasts from multiple models indicate Seattle's overnight low on September 16 will reach the low 50s°F, driven by clearing skies, light northerly flow, and radiational cooling under high pressure after recent showers. This setup favors temperatures near the 53°F climatological average, aligning with the 52-53°F bin's 30% market-implied odds. Uncertainty persists around exact clearing timing and marine layer influence, which could push readings into the upper 40s or mid-50s depending on wind strength and dew points. Strong consensus against extremes—such as 64°F+ or 45°F or below—reflects limited potential for either persistent cloud cover or anomalous cold advection this late in the season. Updated NWS and ensemble guidance over the next 48 hours will refine resolution thresholds.
