Recent official forecasts from agencies including Argentina’s Servicio Meteorológico Nacional and international models indicate a cool spring day for Buenos Aires on September 6, with a southerly flow and high pressure favoring a daily maximum near 9–10 °C. This aligns with an El Niño-influenced pattern producing below-normal temperatures across the region during early spring 2026. Clear to partly cloudy skies and light winds are expected to limit daytime warming after overnight lows in the mid-single digits, keeping the highest reading well below the long-term September average of roughly 19 °C. Trader consensus, reflected in the 53.5 % implied probability for 11 °C, appears to price in modest upside uncertainty from model spread and potential brief warming if winds shift, while the combined weight on 9–10 °C outcomes captures the core forecast signal. Updated model runs and official briefings tomorrow morning represent the next key data points that could refine these market-implied odds.
